Look for a return engagment of the show that reopened the Downstairs Cabaret in 1992 !
Take a musical journey with Art, a midwestern farmer who sets out across America in search of Adelle, his runaway wife. During his quest, Art meets an eccentric potpourri of characters, all portrayed in this tour-de-force by James Lecesne. Lecesne creates each vibrant character, from Mary Kay - a Jersey dance hall tart, to Rocky - a shoe salesman with a foot fetish, to Madame Butarde - a woman living in the past with the lover who jilted her, to Pops Noonan - a tap-dancing vaudevillian inmate. One Man Band triumphs with comic originality, wonderful music, and charming characters - destined to become your all-time favorite!
